Fight Against Big Mom: Who Will Join/Help Luffy Rescue Sanji

Since Luffy decided to go rescue Sanji out of his current predicament, we can expect that at least three mini arcs will happen before the real showdown against Yonko Kaidou:
1) Luffy will face-off Big Mom (more like a animated meeting) and the Vinesmoke family
2) Some of the Straw Hats will be fighting Jack before heading to Wano (See chapter 822)
3) Master Nekomamushi will go recruit Marco, possibly running into Edward Weeble a.k.a. Whitebeard Jr.
4) .....reserved

 This post is really about the first point raised above. I think we're in for a big surprise. Let's get started then:

Luffy 's going to rescue Sanji from Big Mom, who is going to help?

First, I've to admit that a fight doesn't need to occur. This is mainly because of Luffy's surprising goal to not fight and the non-combatant personnel Luffy is bringing with him: Namy, Chopper, and Brook.  Though they're strong, they aren't near  Zoro's or even General Franky's levels. Because of that I think there might not be a fight, and if there is it will be a light one.

651: Big Mom

Rest assured that a light battle will most definitely break out! (fingers crossed) Luffy's got already a target on his back from Big Mom ever since the events from Fishmen Island. Now that he plans on rescuing his nakama from the wedding to tie the Charlotte and Vinsmoke families, there should be a conflict of interests.

I don't think it will be a huge battle to say, but Luffy's primate instincts coupled with a Yonko's anger might result in a challenge between the two. Sanji's probably going to be facing his family and resolving the unknown issue between them  once and for all. Perhaps he was so much against his family's assassin lifestyle that he decided to run away whilst still a kid. That's a background story we have yet to see.

So in case a fight does break out, who will assist Luffy and his party?

A man among men, or rather a man among fishmen.

Jinbei had already been thinking about cutting ties with Big Mom ever since the events on Fishmen Island. He only joined them in the first place to provide protection for his country. Now that time has come to live freely and let the new Neptune Army take responsibility to protect Fishmen Island, Jinbei and his Sun Pirates can join Luffy at the right moment!

II. Lola's vivrecard

Gecko Moria?

Most One Piece fans will by now have heard a little bird chirping that Lola is actually Big Mom's daughter. The dots seemed so visible ever since Big Mom was introduced. I wrote about it in the heydays, before closing the blog ofcourse :(. Hopefully Oda-sensei is not going to change that!

Going with the assumption that Lola is indeed her daughter, her vivre-card or herself might just be what saves Luffy's party from Big Mom's wrath on the nick of the time. Thus avoiding any major blow to our heroes. 




III. New Allies

Who said that Luffy got all of his allies already? Definitely looking forward to the new allies he will make during his way to rescue Sanji!
