The Minks' Secret Trump Card - The Dragon Ball Z Link

Duke Inuarashi on the Minks' trump card
Hmm, last night something just jumped at me while re-reading last week's chapter 819. I think I might have figured out the minks' trump card!

It has been pointed out couple of times already that Luffy's group was lucky "It was not Full Moon". And with Duke Inuarashi pointing out that next time they will be using their trump card, the true strength of the minks, in the next fight against Jack and Kaidou; I finally connected the dots.

I believe that the Minks transform into Super Minks when the moon is fully visible. This reminds me of Dragon Ball and the link between the Sayains (saiyajins) and the full moon. Remember Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan could transform into stupid strong Apes when they saw the full moon? Let's recall also how the current generation of Shonen Mangas are heavily inspired by [Master Sensei] Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball series. DBZ was full of animal like creatures who blended in very well with the earthlings. Perhaps this is one of the many ways Oda-sensei pays tribute to Akira Toriyama, and by extension Ninja Raizou is a tribute to Naruto. Thinking of which, there are already 2 or 3 awesome One Piece x Dragon Ball Z crossovers (one with Toriko too!).

So that's really my theory on this trump card. My only curiosity is to find out how much stronger they can get? These guys are so powerful already you know!

Last but not least, did you notice how the Minks can literally erase their presence? Even Luffy couldn't sense any of them with his acute Haki. So this could mean that the Minks can increase and decrease (conceal) their presence level (aura). Just like with the Z warriors on earth!
