| One Piece Chapter 829 Big Mom |
As I stated in the review of the last chapter, King Kong ain't got sh*t on Big Mom! I think the only two highlights were Big Mom showcasing her powers, and Boss Jinbei finally appearing. So here is a very short review of this chapter:

| Treat or Life, the choice is |
First of all, it seems that Big Mom's sugar levels greatly affect her. She lost her mind and went on a [KING KONG] rampage just because she didn't have the food she requested. Of course, the capital was destroyed. But she might have killed one of her own sons while she was at it!
Big Mom appears to have the power to take people's lifespans away from them. Much like ex-shichibukai Moria steals shadows, Big Mom steals one's lifespan. There is one trick though: her powers works only when the targeted individual loses their cool and composure. But who wouldn't be scared of a Yonko? Especially one who has lost his or her mind!
Furthermore, her powers might also be able to extend people's lifespans or give the stolen life (soul) to objects. The latter might the reason why everything is alive on Totland.
In case she wipes the floor with Luffy, I highly doubt Luffy will fall for this technique. Also, there is this little bird in the back of mind telling me that Luffy's lifespan is already short at this point. Will Big Mom shorten it even further or extend it? That's some food for thought.

Jinbei Appears
Boss Jinbei finally appears. Thanks to him, he found the food Big Mom was looking for and calmed her down. But it seems, his troubles are just getting started. Big Mom is already suspecting The Sun Pirates to quit. If so, the look on her face is nothing to sneeze at. But if something were to happen to Jinbei, then this will more likely force a showdown between her and Luffy.  |

Also, it seems Jinbei offered her a poneglyph. I suspect it was the one Jinbei found during his mini-series. Check out the cover of Chapter 778 for a refresher. In chapter 785, you can see it wrapped on top of the sea God Jinbei is riding on.
In any case, the next chapters will reveal what sort of events will take place during this arc (assuming Oda-sensei will focus on Sanji's retrieval mission for now).
One Piece Gold Movie
Last but not least, I can't wait for the next One Piece Movie to come out. The last movie, One Piece "Z", was one of the best anime (based on shonen manga) ever! Hopefully, "Gold" will be at least as much as good as "Z' was. What I'm most excited about is the cameo of Lucci and Sabo. Just can't wait!
