724 Law putting an end to what happened 13 years ago

Hello fellas,

How's the weather like today? Is the wind favorable for sailing?

Good Question to ask ourselves: who is Kora? It seems obvious that it might be someone who was dear to Law. It also appears that the person died. Well, let us review few moments in which Law was referring to Kora-san.


The first time we put a name to the mysterious individual was when Doflimango shot Law like a stray dog on the street  in chapter 729.  Literally, he shot him bad, very badly.

We got to go back few chapters before getting into our theory for Kora-san...



In chapter 724, Law expressed that he wanted to put an end to what went down 13 years ago!
This gave the hint behind Law's hatred for Doflimango. He wants nothing more than to see the end of Doflimango's empire.


Good thing that Oda didn't make us wait five chapters before telling us what might have happened 13 years ago.

725 Fulfill the will of Kora-san

 In the following chapter, Law states:

"I intend to fulfill what he dedicated his entire life for"

At first I thought he was referring to King Riku or Rebecca's father -Mr. Soldier; but his last thought while collapsing might points to a separate character.
First, let's recall that Law is from North Blue, just as Drake X. Plus, since he has never been to Dressrosa; I think he's not in contact with none of the Riku family members.

When those two are ruled out, Kora san is possibly someone who looked after Law (or inspired him) before being killed by Doflimengo 13 years earlier.

And if I permit myself, I will even say that the relationship between Law and Kora-san might be similar to Luffy and Ace. This could help us understand why Law rescued Luffy during the Marine Ford Battle.
He is someone who looked after Law when he was very young. He taught him many things; or just an older brother. Just like Shanks inspired Luffy; Kora-san might have been the inspiration for Kora. Or a pirate? the reason why Law decided to become a pirate and pursuit One Piece. or even someone who has a "D" in his name!! This might be the reason why Law keeps saying: "D" will probably bring up another storm refering to the will of D and Luffy.

Thanks to Oda, we now hate Doflimango. He used to be so cool; but man, this guy is evil. His fight with Luffy should be interesting.

Which Theory Was Right? 
  I will update this section once Oda sensei opens Pandora's box

• Well as of Chapter 763 that Law is a D as well. But I was not wrong when I wrote that Kora-san (Corazon) was the one who informed him [a little bit] about the clan of D. 
• Also, Corazon was none other than Doflimengo's own little brother. He was killed by Mingo while protecting Law (I said something similar to that in my first theories).
