Chapter 908 Review, Predictions for 909


The Gorosei kneel before Im
 As I predicted in my last review of chapter 907, the Gorosei is NOT the highest authority in the world, and the shadow figure (named Im) is the one pulling the strings and sits on the empty throne!!!
 What else we learned?

The Reverie kicks off
With all 50 representatives present, the real G20 starts. Luckily, King Cobra was able to stir the conversation away about Luffy. Which makes me think they won't mention him during the real discussion.

Bartholomew Kuma
New information about Kuma surfaced! He was the former King of Sorbet Kingdom. This was not that surprising because it can explain the reason he joined the Revolutionary Army and opposed the World Government. What intrigued me however was his status of Shichibukai. This begs the questions:

Chapter 905



GARP
I have to admit that I was surprisingly happy to see Garp all joyous. I was very upset at him letting Ace die during the war of the summit. How could he? How in the hell is your job more important than family?
He is truly Luffy's grand father, a man who doesn't give a cent about protocols and has zero complex in dealing with royalty.
Today, I understand why he categorically refused promotion to become an admiral in the past. The higher you go past being a vice-admiral  in the hierarchy, you command more power and men, but your hands become tied to the Celestial Dragons. So knowing that, Garp knew this was the best position for him to do whatever he wanted to do, but also avoid being controlled by the Tennryubuto. How could he stomach a Buster Call? You need to be blinded by absolute justice to do that.
Although being a vice admiral, he HAD the moral obligation to be present at the war. It saddened him, but that  was his duty. Which also brings me to say that Garp ordered young Ace and Luffy to become marines because that would have been the only way to save them from the World Government when they grow older. So I really have to give Garp my respect once again.
